El recorrido por la ciudad de Ushuaia se inicia en el Muelle Turístico. A lo largo de la Avenida Maipú observaremos diferentes atractivos como la Plaza Cívica.Antigua Casa de Gobierno, el Almacén de Ramos Generales y
Antiguo Templo de Nuestra Señora de la Merced todos edificios destacados por su historia y arquitectura. Antes de cruzar la Pasarela Fique observaremos el Monumento a las Islas Malvinas.
Continuando por el barrio La Misión, nuestro próximo punto de interés será el Barrio Solier primer asentamiento de inmigrantes italianos continuando hacia el Barrio Andino para luego dirigirnos hasta el Mirador del Hotel Las Hayas.
Desde allí tendremos vistas panorámicas de la Bahía de Ushuaia, Canal Beagle, Puerto y península de Ushuaia y Barrio Industrial. Al final del recorrido iremos las instalaciones de la Base Naval Almirante Berisso y del Antiguo Presidio y Cárcel de Reincidentes.
Retomando luego nuevamente la Avenida Maipú finalizaremos la experiencia en el Museo del Fin del Mundo.
The tour around the city of Ushuaia begins at the Touristic Pier. Along Maipú Avenue, we will see different points of interest like the Civic Square, where the National Flag was hoisted for the first time.The old Government House, the
“Almacén de Ramos Generales” (a traditional bar) and the Nuestra Señora de la Merced old Church; all buildings known for their architecture and history. Before crossing the Fique road bridge we will see the Monument of Malvinas Islands.We continue through the “La Misión” neighborhood, and our next point of interest will be Solier neighborhood, which was the first settlement of Italian Immigrants, following to the Andino neighborhood and then to the Las Hayas Hotel viewpoint. From there we will enjoy some beautiful panoramic views of Ushuaia Bay, the Beagle Channel, the Docks and Ushuaia Peninsula, and also of the Industrial neighborhood.
The Centennial Walk reminds us of the different groups that originated Ushuaia`s population. Along the city`s main street, San Martin Avenue, we will find the most important shops, historic buildings such as the Old Pioneers House, the new Nuestra Señora de la Merced Church, the Tourism Office, the current Government House, the City Hall, the
Ideal Bar and the Post Office. At the end of the street, we have the Admiral Berisso Navy Base and the Old Prison and Recidivist Jail.
Returning then to Maipú Avenue we end the experience at the End of the World Museum.
